Case cover for passport Soldbuch with the eagle

Case cover for a passport or another paper document made of leather. It is embossed with the coat of arms of the Third Reich (eagle) and the inscription Soldbuch zugleich Personalausweis — a soldier's book, it is also a personal identification card. The eagle and the inscription are copied in detail from the standard Wehrmacht soldier's book.

Attention! This cover is intended for a modern identification document (passport) measuring 12.5 x 9 cm. This cover is not intended for the Wehrmacht soldier’s book, because the soldier’s book has a larger format and will not fit into this cover. This cover is not a product for reconstruction, but a souvenir product for reenactors, collectors, etc.

We offer a cover of three types of leather:
• Cream color — cattle genuine leather of vegetable tanning, covered with a self-polishing cream to protect it from moisture and scratches. It looks beautiful, but it might become dirty over time (and can be removed with special chemicals for skin cleaning).
• Brown color — genuine leather with a protective coating that will not allow dirt and moisture to spoil the cover for a long time.
• Green — genuine leather with a protective vinyl coating in Feldgrau color. This cover looks very good, the surface is smooth, matte. Cover color fits German tunic. The coating is more resistant to aging than cream skin without coating.

What is 2nd grade?

We sell part of covers at a reduced price. These are good covers on which there's a slight defect of the stamp. For example, the edge of the stamp is visible (a thin line around the picture of the eagle and lettering). Or when after applying the picture, the skin was slightly bended. Covers of 2 grade are presented on a photo below. We can also take a photo of a specific case for you and describe its shortcomings (if any) before you pay for the order so that you are confident in the purchase.
